The village has a regular visit from the East Riding of Yorkshire Library Service, through one of their Mobile Library Vans.  It calls on a fortnightly basis, and parks just outside The Old School House, opposite The Old Chapel.  It arrives, every other Thursday, around 9.45am and leaves at 10.15am.

Books/CD books etc. are lent out for a month, so no need to worry if you miss a visit, or you can use the online service to renew, reserve books etc.

The van also provides free food bin bags for your little brown food waste bin, just pop along to collect them.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council have advised that following their recent consultation exercise regarding the full library service, our village mobile will reduce to a monthly visit from October 2017 from 9.30am to 9.50am.  ERYC are currently updating their library web pages and will let us know once these are complete so a link to their services can be added on our village web site.
