Parish Council

The Parish Council have their own web site northdaltonparishcouncil.org.uk
North Dalton Parish Council meets on a regular basis in the village hall.  All meetings are open to the public and details of forthcoming meetings and draft minutes from the previous meeting are placed on the noticeboard on the Main Street (near to the lane entrance for the village Cricket Pitch in the village).

The noticeboard also lists full contact details of current members of the PCC. There are currently vacancies for membership of the Village Parish Council and if you are interested in finding out more, please contact the Clerk.

Brief information about the role of a parish council and other links can be found here.

Crime Prevention
We’re fortunate to live in a low crime area, but it’s still worth being sensibly vigilant. One of our Parish Councillors, Chris Wade, has been nominated to be the Parish Police Liaison Officer and is happy to hear from anyone with comments or concerns so she can pass them on to the relevant person / organisation.
Chris is also gauging interest in a Neighbourhood Watch scheme for the village and hopes to arrange a meeting soon. Let her know if you’re interested on 07801 124264 or chris.wade@adastra-music.co.uk
You can also keep in touch with local crime and police activity by registering with www.mycommunityalert.co.uk, & selecting the areas you want to know about.
