Angela and her family at Eastfield are kindly hosting a bonfire on the evening of Sunday, 4th November
It will be lit at 6 pm, followed by free food and fireworks. (There will be a wickedly warming chilli and a traditional alternative for the fainthearted! ). Families especially welcome, and please could you let me know if poss how many children, which will help us plan the treats!
Thank you to the Village Hall Committee and others for donations towards this lovely village event.
Any (unpainted) wood for the bonfire can be brought down to Eastfield, Mill Lane and left near the metal gate to the field on the right, just after Eastfield entrance.
Anyone fancy a trip down memory lane? We could do with a hand to sort and re-build the bonfire on the Sunday morning, and possibly assistant firework setter-off-ers later. Please message or phone us on 217021 or 07950 255577.
